In celebration of being alive for one month Camden got to go somewhere very special--the doctor! Woo hoo! I had been looking forward to this appointment for awhile to see how he was doing on his weight gain and hopefully to hear the magical words that we didn't have to wake him up during the night anymore. Here are his stats...Drumroll please:
Height: 22 1/2 inches (75th percentile)
Weight 10 lbs 9 oz (75th percentile)
Head circumference: (75th percentile)
Looks to me like we have a perfectly proportional baby! And the best news is that because he is doing well with his weight, we no longer have to wake him up at night! Best news of the day.
Cam did so well waiting patiently for the doctor and letting him poke and prod around.
Dr. Bruns said that he looks great and was impressed with the way that he was tracking already. Camden even gave him a big old smile while he was listening to his heart.
Poor Camden had no idea that he was waiting for a shot at this point
He did surprisingly well. He let out one big scream when he got stuck (who wouldn't?) but stopped as soon as I picked him up. He didn't have any problems for the rest of the day. I am so proud of my little man for being such a big boy at the doctor today.
