He did a good job at the hospital--except they couldn't get him to bleed! Poor little guy had his heels pricked so much in the hospital I guess he was just done bleeding. He wasn't even crying for the longest time. Finally they got enough blood and we stuck around to make sure it was a good sample since he had 3 different samples clot while in the hospital. Later that day we got a call saying that his jaundice levels had plateaued and he was no longer considered at risk. Good news!
The next day Camden had his first well check. We were happy to see that he was back up to 9 lbs 1 oz. He had dropped to 8 lbs 12 oz in the hospital.
He was very well behaved and the doctor gave him a clean bill of health.
Once we made it through our trip to the doctor is was time to get Cam ready for his first professional photo shoot. Several of our friends have used Kacy and she did not disappoint. I was so surprised that Cam tolerated being naked for so long. The space heater did its job! Here is a sneak peek picture. I can't wait to see the rest of them!
After the pictures, it was time for the first at home sponge bath. I'm pretty sure Cam was done by this point. It had been a busy day and he hates being cold. He was NOT a happy camper, but he sure did smell sweet afterwards.
