Cam had his 15 month well-check a few weeks late because he was on antibiotics for his ear infection when his original appointment was scheduled. He had a great time playing with Dr. Bruns stool and checking out the entire room.
I'm always curious to see how much he weighs and how tall he is. Recently we have had so many comments about his height--but I think park of that is just that he is upright more now that he is walking. That said, he is tall!
Height: 34 inches
Weight: 29 pounds
Size: 24 month
Shoes: 6 (his feet are not quite as fat, so we have more options. Woo hoo)
Diapers: 5
At 15 months...
Sleep
Cam is still a great sleeper. He goes to bed about 9pm. Before bed we read a book together (which he participates by doing different motions to go along with the story--"brush your teeth" "rock back and forth", etc). Then a little song, kiss, and in to the crib he goes. Most nights he goes right to sleep without any crying. Most mornings he wakes up about 8am. His nap starts at 1pm and is normally at least 3 hours, sometimes longer. Once he wakes up, he is content to play for awhile before we get him. The only problem with his sleep is that he wants to be in the crib. No sleeping in the car or on the go for this guy. I suppose it is a fair trade off because 95% of the time we are home for him to sleep anyway.
Eating
I fear for us during the teenage years. This boy is already outeating me many days. His typical breakfast is yogurt and fruit or oatmeal. He can eat 2 packets of oatmeal and still be hungry! He is getting a little more picky about eating his vegetables. He likes peas and corn, but won't touch broccoli or green beans. He prefers "real food" like we fix for dinner. Anything with red sauce is his favorite. He is super independent and wants to feed himself--with an adult fork just like mommy and daddy.
Play
Cam never stops moving. He is on the go all the time. Busy, busy, busy. He is obsessed with containers--putting/taking off lids, filling them up, moving things from one place to the other. He really doesn't need toys, just trash. Haha. His favorite item at the gym playland is a tiny tea cup. Oh dear.
