Baby Steps

Watching his older cousins run around was all the motivation that Camden needed to take his first wobbly steps while we were visiting Texas. It is no surprise that his first official steps were to Amiya--a clear favorite in his book. Then he realized that it was getting him a lot of attention and he was loving it!

I hated that Bryan missed seeing him take those first steps and was excited to show off his new skills when we got home. Of course, Camden has a mind of his own, so he wouldn't even put his feet on the ground, much less walk. Eventually, he gave in and walked to daddy.

 Something about that video just cracks me up. I think it is that he is such a wild man, practically charging at daddy. This video shows off his skills a little better. He was majorly distracted by the tv.

He still has a ways to go before walking is his main mode of transportation, but he's getting there!
