Christmas with the Cousins

We spent Christmas day with the Gragg's this year. Amber had the grand idea that we should ALL have a sleepover at Mimi's house. There were a few skeptics, but it turned out great. On Christmas eve, we started out with a delicious dinner.

During the day the kids had a good time playing dress up and watching movies.

Then we had homemade hot chocolate and the middle cousins went to sleep while watching a movie. The oldest and youngest cousins stayed up for awhile and played games with the grown ups.

Christmas morning, we woke up and opened presents.

and took cute pictures in front of the tree

Whew, that was hard work! Someone is ready for a nap...

The rest of the day we just hung out. Camden had plenty of people to hold him and keep him entertained.

On Christmas Eve, Minerva went around telling everyone that in the morning it was going to be Christmas and it was going to be snowing. Turns out she was right! We had a (little) White Christmas in Texas! The kids went outside for a few minutes to play.

Turns out that by the time our flight was supposed to leave that night the weather had gotten pretty bad. We saw at least 8 accidents on the way to the airport because of icy roads. Our flight ended up being delayed for 4 hours! We didn't get to Cincinnati until after 1am. It was a really long day, but a great one.
