6 months

4 month stats:
Height: 26 1/2 inches (64%)
Weight: 17lb (67%)
Clothes: Some 3-6 month, some 6-9 month
Diapers: finishing off 3s and moving into 4s

Something about passing that 6 month mark and being closer to 1 year old than being born just changes a baby! She seems so much older all of a sudden. She recently went from not being able to sit up for even a second to being a full time sitter (for over an hour at a time!) in one week's time.  It seems like she is doing something new every day.

Likes:
*Her brother. She always lights up when he comes into the room. She loves watching him play and wants to be in on the action. I have a feeling she's going to be trying to join the fun soon and he might not like that so much.
*Veggies--so far she has had butternut squash, acorn squash, sweet potatoes, peas and green beans and seems to like all of them. She prefers homemade to store bought.
*Sitting up. She seems most content while sitting on the floor to play--as long as she can reach her toys. She constantly pushes them away from her and then gets upset.
*Her pacifier. She takes it far more than Camden ever did. She likes it to fall asleep, but if she is awake, she mostly likes to take it out of her mouth and play with it.

Dislikes:
*She still doesn't like sleeping in public. In fact, she's pretty much given it up all together. She rarely falls asleep while we are out and about--not even in the car. Oh joy!
*Being left. She still cries every time I leave her at the gym. She gets over it quickly, but she does not like to see me leave. If we are at home and one of us walks out of the room, she also cries. She will start going to the nursery on Sundays soon, so hopefully she gets over this before too long.
*Fruit. I haven't found a fruit that she really loves yet. She will tolerate bananas, pears and prunes if they are mixed with something else. She doesn't seem to like apples at all.

Sleep:
I hope Kylie is on her way back to earning her good sleeper status. For about a month, she went back to waking during the night. We moved her bedtime up earlier and that seems to have help get her back on track. She normally goes down about 8:30pm and sleeps until sometime between 6:30-7:30am. Naps are dependent on if we are home or not. Ideally, if we are home, she takes 2 naps that are 2+ hours and then possibly an evening shorter nap (she fights this sometimes). She still likes to be put in her bed awake and put herself to sleep. She almost ever sleeps while we are out these days. She doesn't sleep as much as Camden did at this age, but if she can keep up the current schedule it seems pretty good.

Eating:
Kylie still takes 4 bottles (6 oz each) a day. We have also added solids twice a day (morning, night). For now she prefers veggies to fruit.  Sweet potatoes seem to be her favorite, just like Cam. I've been making the veggies at home because they are easy. We do jars when we are out and about. They are much more runny and she doesn't seem to like them as much. She also just tried puffs and yogurt melts and seems to like them as well.

Siblings: Kylie still loves to watch her brother play. I'm starting to get a glimpse of the battles that are to come. Camden is so loud and in her face all the time. She is sitting well now, but he's so rough that I worry to leave her alone while he is around. He loves to make her laugh, but doesn't realize that sometimes he is too loud and it scares her instead. He loves to go and get her when she wakes up and she loves it too.
