Monday Fun

Monday has become Camden's favorite day of the week for one reason--GARBAGE DAY! I have no idea where his love of garbage trucks came from, but they are right at the top of his favorites list right now.

On Monday, we are getting home from the gym about the time the truck comes. As soon as he hears it, he goes running outside to check it out. He walks all the way down to the end of the cul-de-sac and walks slowly back as the truck makes a stop at each and every house. The regular driver knows us now and always smiles and waves.

On a particularly hot day, Camden remarked that he must be really thirsty, so we came back and got some cold bottled water for him. Cam was so excited to give it to him (celebrity status!). He also insisted on taking his toy garbage truck outside to show him another time. He's going to be super bummed in the Fall if he ends up being at school on Mondays and misses out on seeing his best bud.
