Rolling

When the swaddling problems start happening, I know it's time for my babies to start learning to roll over. The same thing happened with Camden. He started breaking out of the swaddle and waking up multiple times a night. We knew we were going to have to start transitioning him and we were scared to death. Within nights of being "free" he rolled over and started sleeping on his belly.

Kylie has been no different. About the time we ditched the swaddle, she started sleeping on her side or with her bottom half flipped over.  One day I ran upstairs to get Camden and came back down to this:

It was only a matter of time before she realized she could lift her head and roll all the way over. That quickly led to her being mostly a belly sleeper just like her brother.

ETA: Around 5 months she ended up going through a phase where every time you put her on her back, she instantly flipped over and then decided that she really hated it. Even though she has rolled from belly to back, she doesn't do it consistently and doesn't realized that what she needs to do to get unstuck. We are flipping her back over all day long.
